Whether it’s the first or the fifth time you are having a child being a mother is something to write home about. The experience is always new and fascinating, well almost. The experience could be better if someone appreciated your efforts. There is a tendency for babies to ruin your plan to catch some rest with loud shrieks. This prompts you to gather your strength and put the back to sleep only for that loud shriek from your backyard to alarm you again. Your other kids are fighting and being a referee is not your idea of a good time. Then you are awakened by the reality of the half done work that was interrupted when you picked up the call reminding you of a school meeting. You’ve just saved yourself another cooking session in the nick of time. That’s just the beginning.
As a mother you’ll be surprised at how busy your schedule always is. That is why you need to reclaim your life back. It is good to be there for other people as long as you are not neglecting yourself. Stop for a while ,the world won’t stop just because you took a break. Take a time out in the course of the day and make it absolutely clear to all, your kids included that you are having a relaxing session. The thing about dancing is that you can always do you. Listen to the music you like. The thing about people who always have something to say about your kitchen sink is that they could be of help if you ask nicely. Have a reasonable plan to have sometimes with friends during the weekends. It would be a great idea to start making friends if you have none. Get as much help as you can because you deserve it.
It is key to stay healthy and stress free at all times despite the challenge of time. You are sure to get more done if you utilize your time properly. You have good to be in tip top health otherwise your responsibilities will overwhelm you. Going to the gym might be costly in matters of time though you could get the same benefits from kettle bell exercises with less time. Exercise does not have to be a workout even simple things like running up and down the stairs and chasing your kids could prove useful. The trick is to never let go of a good old balanced diet with just a bit of healthy fats. Learn to take life easy, it’s never that serious anyway.
