| Jeff has been described as the "Voice to Mid County". He is a third generation Nederland resident and a 2001 graduate of Nederland High School. While in High School, Jeff was a member of the Nederland Military Marching Band, Nederland High School Jazz Band, D.E.C.A., and First Priority. He has also participated in various Southeast Texas Chamber of Commerce events. Jeff has been a member of Triumph Church of Southeast Texas, for seven years and has actively served in the Triumph Music and Arts Department and Student Ministry In May of 2005, Jeff ran for Nederland City Council and received more than three hundred votes.
